While I was walking the other day, I realized that I kept confusing butterflies. I got fed up, so I decided to make some little memo cards to try my best to recognize them.
I found the exercise super interesting, so I think itโs cool to share them with you! Today weโre looking at the Red Admiral (Vanessa Atalanta), the Peacock butterfly (Aglais Io), the Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais Urticae) and the Small Copper (Lycaena Phlaeas)
The exercise of drawing them really helps to focus on the details that define the butterfly and makes identification easier. I invite you to draw them too, with your own eye and hand in your notebookโitโs a great exercise!
